Get More Out Of Your YMCA Community!

Adventure Guides is great but the Y offers so much more!  As part of YGuides you are an official YMCA program member, which means you can enjoy many of their other activities as well.

Here are just a few of the cool things the Y offers in addition to Adventure Guides:

Money Strong Families

Do you believe that teaching your kids how to manage money is important?

Do you need help getting started?

Then join the YMCA for fun, active classes designed for parents and their children ages 7-11.

Money Strong Families teaches money management through games, activities, and informal discussions where families will explore saving, spending, and sharing.

Each family will receive a Moonjar, a children's book about sharing, a calculator, and a free gift.

Money Strong Families is a collaboration between Washington Mutual and the YMCA. Everyone is welcome and Money Strong Families is a free program with dinner provided.

To RSVP, please contact Chris Robinson at crobinson@seattleymca.org

Chris would also love to come to your place to present this class to your Y-Guides group as a circle activity.  Just ask!

Kid's University

Kids' University is a before & after-school recreation program offering educational, art and sports oriented classes to children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Available classes include:  Jewelry making, soccer, swimming, martial arts, science, and many more. Best of all, transportation is available to or from many local schools.

No School Day Activities

In addition to after-school enrichment, Kids' University provides out-of-school activities available to any children K-5th grades.

Weekenders

Children K-5th grade spend time together playing games, creating art and exploring their imaginations. Participants are given a variety of activities and encouraged to do what they love the most.
