Rainier Expedition-->Westerners

Welcome to the inaugural year of Westerners!

Westerners is a program for 4th-6th grade boys and girls.  It is similar to Y-Guides, but with activities designed for bigger kids.  The program operates under the Y-Guides umbrella, but is less structured around circles. You can bring your whole circle up to Westerners from YGuides, you can create a new circle for Westerners, or you can just participate as a single dad/son pair, without a circle affiliation.

2009/2010 All-Westerners Activities

Chris Robinson is creating an awesome calendar of events for all Westerners to attend:

Camp Orkila October 9-11 Orkila like you've never experienced it, tailored to the big kids!
Stonewater Ranch Jan. 22-24 or Feb. 19-21 Snowmobiling in Leavenworth!
Mt. Baker March TBD Spring camp.
Whitewater Rafting May TBD Wet and wild.
Backpacking TBD Real outdoors.
Climbing TBD Rope up with the Mountianeers.

Circle Activities

As with YGuides, Westerner circles are encouraged to have their own adventures as well.
